Art Class for Kids with Frida Kahlo

Express Children's Theatre presents An Art Class for Kids with Frida Kahlo , commissioned by Rothko Chapel. Through a fun, time-bending adventure, the legendary artist Frida Kahlo travels from 1940s Mexico to teach a creative art class! Participants will learn about Frida's life and artistic style while creating their own self-portraits using crayons and colored pencils. Space is limited to 60 participants and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Art supplies will be provided only to the first 60 children and/or teens in kindergarten through 12th grade. Adults and younger siblings are welcome to attend and enjoy the presentation but will not receive art materials.
