Harris County Public Library’s Book Buddies is a FREE \, fun-filled literacy program that pairs enthusiastic\, trained teen volunteers (our amazing Big Buddies ) with younger readers ( Little Buddies ) for 9 weeks of reading adventures ! Reading Sessions begin: Mondays | 4:45 PM – 5:30 PM September 14 – November 16\, 2026 (Excluding October 12th) @ Maud Smith Marks Branch Library Each week\, your child will build confidence\, make a new friend\, and discover the joy of reading in a supportive\, one-on-one setting.
